I’m Angela (she/her), a general assignment features reporter at The Seattle Times. My coverage spans breaking/trending news related to lifestyle and entertainment, as well as consumer travel, local media and communities.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my bachelor’s degrees in journalism and ethnic studies. Houston-born and raised in the Philippines, I’m passionate about covering marginalized communities and making the news more accessible to them.
