I’m Angela (she/her), a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my bachelor’s degrees in journalism and ethnic studies. Houston-born and raised in the Philippines, I’m passionate about covering marginalized communities and making the news more accessible to them.

I most recently worked as a temporary features reporter at The Seattle Times, covering everything under the features umbrella: culture, visual arts, music, food, the outdoors and more.
