Although I’ve been writing my whole life, I didn’t pursue journalism until I entered college. Writing became a public service that shares my community’s stories rather than just my own. I started as a general life and arts reporter at The Daily Texan, UT’s student-run newspaper, and have since then worked with publications such as Community Impact Newspaper, the Daily Dot and the Austin Chronicle. My journalistic interests extend to culture, the arts, entertainment, education, race and equity.
Aside from print, I began dabbling into audio through NPR’s Next Generation Radio program in September 2023. I was also a news intern for KUT, Austin’s NPR station, where I produced stories for radio and the web.
I am currently a fellow for the Asian American Journalists Association’s VOICES program, a multimedia fellowship.
I’m always open to working on new projects! You can find my resume here.
