I started as a life and arts reporter and editor at The Daily Texan, UT’s student-run newspaper, in 2021 — and have since worked with publications such as Texas Monthly, the Austin Chronicle, Community Impact Newspaper, The Barbed Wire and the Daily Dot. My journalistic interests include culture, the arts, entertainment, education, race and equity.
Aside from print, I gained experience in audio storytelling through NPR’s Next Gen Radio fellowship and produced radio and web stories as a news intern at KUT, Austin’s NPR Station. I am also an alumna of the Asian American Journalists Association’s VOICES program, where I co-produced a multimedia project about Asian American voters’ priorities for the 2024 election.
